Why Does My Iron Run Out of Steam or Water So Quickly?

When you use the iron on continuous steam, your tank of water will last approximately 8-11 minutes. We do suggest to use your steam button only, on non-continuous/steam on demand. Two seconds of depressing the button produces four (4) to eight (8) good seconds of steam projections. By pressing this button intermittently (once every 5-10 seconds) this will allow you to get just as much steam as if your continuous/nonstop steam is on. Once you have mastered this, you will never go back to any other iron!

Why Does the Orange Light go on & off while the Iron is in Use?

When the water inside the boiler begins to cool, the power switch indicator light will come on indicating that the iron is heating. Once the water in the boiler reaches the optimal temperature, the power switch indicator light will shut off. It is very normal to see it repeating itself. Especially if you are ironing for more than 10 minutes at a time, just keep ironing.

Why is My Iron Heating but not Producing Steam?

  1. Adjust the steam dial to the non-continuous steam position and press the button
  2. Ensure that there is water inside the boiler
  3. The boiler of your iron may need to be cleaned.

  • Using your measuring cup fill to slightly below max line with 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water. Be sure that tank is completely empty and fill with vinegar and water solution.
  • Place safety cap on tightly, be sure that steam dial is in off position (turn counter clockwise) and plug into a power surge protection bar.
  • Turn on and let unit heat up until power switch indicator light goes off. Turn off and unplug from power source, let sit for 10 minutes and then shake vigorously.
  • Let cool for another 10 minutes, depress and hold down the steam button until no more steam comes out.
  • Unscrew safety cap and empty tank contents. This may need to be done several times depending on how long since the last cleaning and the type of water used.
  • To complete, rinse tank with clear water until vinegar odour dissipates.

Why is My Iron Leaking?

  1. Boiler has not been primed.
  • Before you use your iron for the very first time you will need to prime the unit to ensure that your Eurosteam iron is in optimal working order. You will only need to perform this procedure once, prior to its first use.
  • Fill your measuring cup to just slightly below the max line and, using measuring cup, fill your boiler tank.
  • Screw on your safety cap with your cap remover and make sure that your steam dial is turned all the way off (turn counter clockwise). Plug unit in, switch on and wait for ready light to turn off.
  • Holding iron turn steam dial all the way on (turn clockwise). Keep holding unit and allow full tank of steam to run out of iron. When completed let unit cool

  1. Power switch indicator light is on while pushing the steam button, wait for indicator light to go out before ironing.
  2. The iron maybe overfilled, depress the steam button a few times to steam out excess water.
  3. Ensure the steam dial is turned all the way counter clockwise to the off position
  4. Iron safety cap (also known as the boiler cap) may not be tight enough
  5. The iron is cooling down due to not using the iron immediately after the power switch indicator light shuts off. This is a safety feature where the iron will drop temperature after 1-2 minutes of non-use.  Hold the steam button down until the indicator light comes on and wait for the power switch indicator light to shut off.  After this it can once again be ready for immediate use.

Why Is Steam Leaking From the Screw Cap When I Turn My Iron On?

  1. O-ring may need to be replaced. Remove O-ring from base of safety cap and replace with O-ring provided.
  2. The screw cap may not be on tight enough
  3. When the iron is left on non-continuous steam mode without releasing the steam button regularly after indicator lamp shuts off for prolonged periods of time (10 minutes or longer) the iron’s built in safety feature will release the steam through the screw plug.

We encourage quilters and sewers to please press the steam button every 10 minutes or so when not in use, this will ensure the iron to be ready when you are.

What Water do I Use to Fill the Iron?

The Eurosteam Iron is designed to use regular tap water. Never use 100% distilled water as this may lead to damage inside the boiler.

About Softened Water and Well Water: Many types of water contain naturally high levels of sodium, iron, mineral and organic matter. If these collect inside the boiler it can eventually appear as brown stains or can cause your Eurosteam to spit during use. If you experience this type of problem you should try using inexpensive bottled spring water. Never use water that has any additives such as starch, perfume or fabric conditioner. The additives can affect the boiler, at high temperatures deposits can form and emit stains and cause blockage of the steam vents.

Why does My Iron Lose Pressure While Steaming?

  1. As you use the steam button or steam dial, the pressure within the boiler is decreasing. You may notice your iron slightly losing pressure when you are priming the boiler.
  2. Or if the power switch indicator light has come on, you may choose to allow your iron to rebuild the pressure until the indicator light goes off.

Why is my handle getting hot?

Your Eurosteam handle will get fairly warm, however it should never become too hot to hold. Your iron’s handle may feel warm due long periods of on with no use, leaving the iron to steam continuously or steam leaking from the safety cap.

  • Remove the old O-ring from the base of safety cap (also known as boiler and replace with one of the new ones that came with your iron (there is a small bag that contains 2 or 3 O-rings, green, black or brown in color depending on which model you have).

360 Mop

Why is My White Spinner Basket Popping Off?

  1. When you purchased the 360 Mop Set, was that white spinner already attached?
  2. If you answered no for question (1), have you pushed as hard as you could till you heard a loud click?
  3. If you answered no to question (2), please try pushing as hard as you can till you hear a loud click. Once that happens, your white spinner should never pop off.
  4. If you answered yeas to question (2), I will need to ship you a new bucket with the white spinner attached
  5. If you answered yes for question (1), has it always been popping off?
  6. If you answered yes to question (5), I will need to ship you a new bucket with the white spinner attached.

Why Can’t I Get My 360 Mop to Spin?

  1. Check to see if your White Spinner spins freely by hand. If it doesn’t, you will need a new bucket with the spinner attached.  If it does spin freely by hand, proceed to step (2).
  2. Check the grooved part on the handle. Make sure you have twisted it clockwise, this will allow the handle to extend or shorten.  If your handle doesn’t do this, you need a new handle.  If it does, check step (1), as the handle and white spinner work together.  The faster you pump, the dryer your mop head will be.

How Do I Remove the White Micro Fiber Head to Wash?

  1. With one foot, step on the micro fiber head.
  2. Tilt the 360 mop handle away from yourself while keeping your foot on the micro fiber head. This will cause the micro fibre head to remove itself from the mop handle.

I Can’t Get my White Spinner to Click onto the Blue Bucket:

  1. Make sure your Micro Fiber Head isn’t in that area, cause once you have successfully attached the white spinner, it will not come off, leaving the 360 Mop head stuck.
  2. Have the center hole on the White Spinner on the metal prong.
  3. Push down as hard as you can till you hear a very loud click. Once you hear that click, it will not come off at all.
  4. Spin the White Basket to ensure that it spins freely, if it doesn’t, you will need a new bucket with a white spinner.

Why Isn’t My 360 Mop Head Not as Dry as Demonstrated?

The faster and longer you pump the 360 Mop handle, the dryer the microfiber head becomes.  Using chemical cleaners as well as washing your microfiber heads in regular laundry soap with fabric softener will affect the microfiber heads absorbency.  Make sure you are using natural house cleaners when using or washing your 360 microfiber heads.

iQ Pure Air 3000

How does it Work?

It has four advanced technologies to destroy pollution from the air, embedded in walls, ceilings, floors, carpets, furniture, clothing, on countertops and other surfaces. These technologies help to sanitize everything in the house and reduces or eliminates all odors, including cigarette smoke, mildew, cooking odors, and more.

  1. Advanced Photo Catalytic Oxidation (PCO) Cell:

The PCO technology in the iQ Pure Air 3000 not only destroys biological contaminates traveling through the cell, but it produces a purifying plasma which breaks down odors, mold, bacteria and viruses. Photo Catalytic Oxidation reactors have been proven to reduce dangerous pathogens by over 99% in 24 hours or less. The process is molecular disassociation, which doesn’t just cover up the source, it actually breaks the molecule down. The result at the end of the breakdown process is Carbon Dioxide and Water Vapor.

  1. Needlepoint Ionization:

The iQ Pure Air 3000 generates a continuous stream of millions of negative ions that circulate throughout the home. These ions charge particles of dust, dander, bacteria and viruses; causing them to attract other particles and clump together. As more and more particles come together, they become heavier, making them easier to pull into the homes furnace filter or just fall to the floor to be vacuumed up. Unlike HEPA filters that can filter out particles of .5 microns or larger, the ionizer in the IQ3000 can reduce ultra-fine particles, even nano-particles, that are much more dangerous than the larger particles you can see. This means your family breathes easier with less particles in the breathing space, less exposure to bacteria, mold and virus particles as well.

  1. Scalable Purification:

In High Mode the purification plate is activated to generate activated oxygen to assist in breaking down mold, bacteria, and other biological contaminates which cause odors. By setting the purifier based upon the area to be treated, just the right amount of purification is produced to keep the home fresh and clean. For faster cleanup an “Away Mode” feature which has a auto-shutoff programmable timer allows for maximum output to be used when the room or home is unoccupied.

  1. Electrostatic Filtration:

An advanced electrostatic filter is included with the iQ Pure Air 3000 to help keep the purifier clean while at the same time filter out particles which clump together thanks to the needlepoint ionization. Unlike expensive HEPA filters, the electrostatic filter is washable and can be used over and over again.

What Are the Warnings & Cautions?

WARNING: Never operate the unit near a heat source, open flame, or flammable/combustible fluids.

WARNING: Do not operate the unit unless the following are properly installed: PCO CELL, PURIFICATION PLATE, REAR FILTER ASSEMBLY (with

all three pieces in place), and the REAR COVER.
